St. Hubert will celebrate a Funeral Mass for Joan Campbell-Pyzdrowski on Thursday, February 5 at 11:00 AM with visitation at 10:00 AM.

Adorers Needed
Commit to spending an hour with Jesus each week. A regular adorer is needed Friday mornings from 2-3 AM. Several time slots are also in need of a second adorer. Find open times and sign up at https://sthubert.org/adoration/.
Blessing of Candles
In celebration of Candlemas (The Presentation of the Lord) on Monday, February 2, all are invited to bring any candles you wish to have blessed to the 7:30 AM Mass. The blessing of candles will take place at the beginning of Mass.

Knights Free Throw Championship
The Knights of Columbus will be holding their annual basketball Free Throw Championship on Sunday, February 1, starting at 11:30 AM in the St. Hubert Catholic School gym. Boys and girls who were aged 9 to 14 on January 1 of this year are encouraged to participate.
Our parish champion will advance to the District level on February 15 in Waconia and will have the opportunity to advance to the State Championship. Scoring sheets with more information are available in advance at the parish office, but pre-registration is not required.
Family Formation Event to Celebrate the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord
40 days after the birth of Jesus, the Holy Family traveled to the temple in Jerusalem in accordance with Jewish law. There, they met Simeon and Anna, who prophesied that the newborn Child would be “a light for revelation to the nations, and the glory of the people of Israel.” The Catholic Church celebrates this day as the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord (also often referred to as Candlemas). On this day, the Church has a long-standing custom of blessing candles, lighting them and carrying them in procession on this Feast of the Presentation of our Lord, or Candlemas. The lighted candles symbolize the revealing of God’s plan of salvation through the birth of Jesus. The procession expresses our identity as the Body of Christ carrying his light into the shadows of our world.
To help families enter into this Feast day with meaning, St. Hubert invites you to join us for a candle decorating event on Sunday, February 1 from 3:30-5:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Supplies will be provided for you to decorate a candle for your family. Registration is required for the event so that we can plan enough supplies.
Click here to register. A $10 suggested contribution is requested to help cover the cost of the candle. Decorated candles will then be brought to the 7:30 AM daily Mass on February 2 to be blessed in celebration of the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord.
All parishioners are welcome to bring your own personal candles to the 7:30 AM daily Mass on February 2 to have them blessed (even if you aren't participating in the candle-decorating event).
Southwest Grief Coalition
The winter session for Southwest Grief Coalition is underway. It's for anyone who has lost a loved one within the past three years. Please sign up on their website if you would like to attend. You need not attend all of them to register.

Feed My Starving Children
Come volunteer at Feed My Starving Children! FMSC volunteers experience a fun, one-of-a-kind team building experience with co-workers, family, friends, and strangers alike. This experience often turns into a desire to do more and reach farther, until all are fed.
Every third Wednesday of the month from 12-1:45 PM, there are spots reserved for St. Hubert! Set your calendar for Wednesday, February 18. Sign up at

This is also the session that the fifth graders from St. Hubert will be packing; how fun to join the school kids in making a difference with your own two hands!

Vianney Visit
Have you ever considered the priesthood? All young men who are high school sophomores through college age are invited to the upcoming Vianney Visit. The Vianney Visit is a three-day visit to Saint John Vianney College Seminary located on the campus of the University of St. Thomas. Beginning Thursday afternoon and concluding Saturday morning, the visit includes testimonies from current seminarians, visits with priests on staff, spiritual conferences, attending a college class, touring the campus, and, of course, you won't leave without having some fun. Visitors will stay overnight at the seminary with all meals being provided. There is no charge for the visit.
