Due to the frigid temperatures, the parish office will be closed Friday, January 23. Morning Mass and the funeral tomorrow will be celebrated as scheduled. The Women's Welcome Retreat preparations will happen as scheduled. All other meetings and activities are cancelled.

Adoration Closure
The Adoration Chapel will close from 6 PM Thursday, January 22 until 8 AM Tuesday, January 27 due to frigid wind chills and St. Hubert School's Adoration all day on Monday.

St. Hubert will celebrate a Funeral Mass for Joan Campbell-Pyzdrowski on Saturday, February 7 at 11:00 AM with visitation at 10:00 AM.

Statue Restoration Notice
In the coming week, the statues from the historic St. Hubert church—including the statues of the Sacred Heart & St. Hubert currently located at this campus—will be carefully removed to undergo professional refurbishment and conservation. The restoration process is expected to take approximately six months. Please do not be alarmed if you notice statues temporarily missing; they will return once this important work is complete. The costs of this project are being covered by a parishioner.
Prayer Service & March for Life
Stand up for life on Thursday, January 22 by attending the annual Prayer Service for Life at the Cathedral of Saint Paul at 10:30 AM followed by the annual MCCL March for Life at Noon at the Capitol. This is your opportunity to give a voice to the voiceless and stand up for the unborn and mothers.
The St. Hubert Respect Life Ministry is sponsoring free bus transportation. The bus will depart from St. Hubert's front parking lot at 9:30 AM and return at approximately 2 PM. There is no cost to ride the bus but free will offerings will be accepted; all ages are welcome.

Sharing & Caring Hands
Thank you dear parishioners, your reward is eternal! Sharing and Caring Hands clothed and entertained hundreds of children through the generosity of St. Hubert parishioner's Christmas Giving Tree, providing sweatshirts and toys for the homeless in Minneapolis.
St. Hubert will be serving a meal on Thursday, January 29 from 12-2 PM. Please drop off donations at St. Hubert, Tuesday, January 27 and Wednesday, January 28 from 9-11 AM.
Knights Free Throw Championship
The Knights of Columbus will be holding their annual basketball Free Throw Championship on Sunday, February 1, starting at 11:30 AM in the St. Hubert Catholic School gym. Boys and girls who were aged 9 to 14 on January 1 of this year are encouraged to participate.
Our parish champion will advance to the District level on February 15 in Waconia and will have the opportunity to advance to the State Championship. Scoring sheets with more information are available in advance at the parish office, but pre-registration is not required.
Family Formation Event to Celebrate the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord
40 days after the birth of Jesus, the Holy Family traveled to the temple in Jerusalem in accordance with Jewish law. There, they met Simeon and Anna, who prophesied that the newborn Child would be “a light for revelation to the nations, and the glory of the people of Israel.” The Catholic Church celebrates this day as the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord (also often referred to as Candlemas). On this day, the Church has a long-standing custom of blessing candles, lighting them and carrying them in procession on this Feast of the Presentation of our Lord, or Candlemas. The lighted candles symbolize the revealing of God’s plan of salvation through the birth of Jesus. The procession expresses our identity as the Body of Christ carrying his light into the shadows of our world.
To help families enter into this Feast day with meaning, St. Hubert invites you to join us for a candle decorating event on Sunday, February 1 from 3:30-5:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Supplies will be provided for you to decorate a candle for your family. Registration is required for the event so that we can plan enough supplies.
Click here to register by January 28. A $10 suggested contribution is requested to help cover the cost of the candle. Decorated candles will then be brought to the 7:30 AM daily Mass on February 2 to be blessed in celebration of the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord.
All parishioners are welcome to bring your own personal candles to the 7:30 AM daily Mass on February 2 to have them blessed (even if you aren't participating in the candle-decorating event).

Come volunteer at Feed My Starving Children! FMSC volunteers experience a fun, one-of-a-kind team building experience with co-workers, family, friends, and strangers alike. This experience often turns into a desire to do more and reach farther, until all are fed.

Pope Leo and the Modern Church
Saturday, January 31, 10 AM-1 PM, Pax Christi Catholic Community, $25
Presented by the Pax Christi Theology Academy, this event welcomes journalist Christopher Altieri to present his new book, The New Pope and Catholic Reform.
Presented by the Pax Christi Theology Academy, this event welcomes journalist Christopher Altieri to present his new book, The New Pope and Catholic Reform.
After coffee and light refreshments, Altieri will share insights on Pope Leo XIV's ministry and papacy as well as an examination of the state of the Church. Following his presentation, Fr. Hjalmar B. Gudjonsson will moderate a panel with Christopher Altieri, Archbishop Bernard Hebda, and Monique Maddox, founder of the Descendants Truth and Reconciliation Foundation. The event will conclude with lunch. All are welcome!

Vianney Visit
Have you ever considered the priesthood? All young men who are high school sophomores through college age are invited to the upcoming Vianney Visit. The Vianney Visit is a three-day visit to Saint John Vianney College Seminary located on the campus of the University of St. Thomas. Beginning Thursday afternoon and concluding Saturday morning, the visit includes testimonies from current seminarians, visits with priests on staff, spiritual conferences, attending a college class, touring the campus, and, of course, you won't leave without having some fun. Visitors will stay overnight at the seminary with all meals being provided. There is no charge for the visit.
