Prayer Service & March for Life
Stand up for life on Thursday, January 22 by attending the annual Prayer Service for Life at the Cathedral of Saint Paul at 10:30 AM followed by the annual MCCL March for Life at Noon at the Capitol. This is your opportunity to give a voice to the voiceless and stand up for the unborn and mothers.
The St. Hubert Respect Life Ministry is sponsoring free bus transportation. The bus will depart from St. Hubert's front parking lot at 9:30 AM and return at approximately 2 PM. There is no cost to ride the bus but free will offerings will be accepted; all ages are welcome.

Facilities & Cemetery Lead Position

Facilities Support - Custodial/Light Maintenance
St. Hubert Catholic Community is seeking a reliable, energetic Facilities Support team member to help ensure our church and school remain clean, safe, and welcoming for all. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys variety in their day, and thrives in a collaborative, faith-centered environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the daily facility needs of the church, school, and all St. Hubert properties
- Assist with cleaning, room setups, space turnovers, and special project work
- Complete maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, assembling equipment, minor repairs, and moving furniture
- Help maintain exterior grounds—including mowing, trimming, sweeping, and snow removal
- Operate custodial and maintenance equipment (vacuums, floor machines, lifts, etc.)
- Maintain building security, including locking up and arming the facility as requested
- Collaborate with the Facilities Lead to ensure work orders and ministry needs are completed

Lifeline January 2026
High schoolers are invited to attend the Lifeline Mass this Saturday, January 10 at the NET Center in West St. Paul. Youth can come to St. Hubert at 4:45 PM for dinner in the North Fellowship Hall and then take a bus to the NET Center together. Pick up at 10:00 PM at St. Hubert. This event is free to attend.
Lifeline allows high schoolers to encounter Jesus Christ and experience true community within the Church. Each evening includes Mass, a dynamic speaker, praise and worship, and adoration. NET partners with the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis to host Lifeline at the NET Center in West St. Paul.

Feed My Starving Children
Come volunteer at Feed My Starving Children! FMSC volunteers experience a fun, one-of-a-kind team building experience with co-workers, family, friends, and strangers alike. This experience often turns into a desire to do more and reach farther, until all are fed.

To the parishoners of St. Hubert,
On behalf of Feed My Starving Children, thank you for your generous donations through the Advent Giving Tree. Over $2100 was donated by the parish which provided about 7,350 meals and fed 20 children a daily meal for a year! What a gift and a blessing! "Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me." (Mt 25:40). These kids have little, but now have much, and now have hope for a future. Again, thank you!

We are thrilled to announce that the Amazing Shake Competition is just around the corner on Thursday, January 22. This exciting event provides our middle school students with the opportunity to develop and showcase their interpersonal skills, confidence, and professionalism through a series of engaging challenges. To make this event a success, we need your help!
We are seeking volunteers for two key portions of the competition:
The Gauntlet Challenge:
Students will rotate through rapid, high-energy interactions designed to test their ability to think on their feet and engage confidently. Volunteers will participate in short, structured interactions with students, such as role-playing or engaging in conversations, based on prompts provided by our team.
The Work-the-Room Challenge:
Students will navigate a room full of individuals, introducing themselves and leaving a positive impression while balancing social etiquette and professionalism. Volunteers will be stationed throughout the room to interact with students as they navigate the space.
You can sign up for one or multiple slots depending on your availability.
This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our students while also having some fun. Your involvement plays a critical role in making this event a memorable and impactful experience for them. Sign up using the link below!

She will discuss key legislative issues, including support for non-public schools, school safety and lunch programs, scholarship support for families, and respect for life and end-of-life concerns such as physician-assisted suicide and alternatives to abortion. Learn how these issues impact our schools, families, and communities, and how Catholics can stay informed and engaged.

After coffee and light refreshments, Altieri will share insights on Pope Leo XIV's ministry and papacy as well as an examination of the state of the Church. Following his presentation, Fr. Hjalmar B. Gudjonsson will moderate a panel with Christopher Altieri, Archbishop Bernard Hebda, and Monique Maddox, founder of the Descendants Truth and Reconciliation Foundation. The event will conclude with lunch. All are welcome!
